Burning the candle at both ends.

The owners of Candles by Cottagewood wanted a site that reflected their pride in craft, and set them apart from the larger candle manufacturers. They also wanted to list all ten bazillion of their products. Furthermore, it had to be easily updated and maintained by in-house staff. In short, they wanted the whole ball of wax. The site had to be dynamic to accommodate the ever-changing product lines and additions. It was built with a fully custom WYSIWIG CMS, allowing them to easily add and edit content, thanks to my favorite killer developer.
I spent many hours in the candle factory to learn more than I needed to know about making candles, and create assets. It was quite illuminating [sic]. I was fascinated to see how much experimentation and creativity went into making the waxes, scents, and dyes to achieve a certain look or design. Truly an art form. Without waxing poetic, I had a lot of fun designing this site.
